Hmm..

.. it's already June!

Time really pass you by in a blink of an eye..

Anyway Q will be finishing her Reception year soon.

Next month. Then she will go to year 1.

Owh my baby girl is growing up so fast!

And R would be in Reception next September!

My baby boy in proper school soon!

So much exclamation mark eh?

Yeaps, I can't believe that I am getting older...

Soon it will be Ramadhan...

Time to work out the menu for a month now hehehe...

And it will be our first away from home.

Away from mama's cooking.

Away from PaRam.

Away from eating out.

Sigh... :P

It will be about 17 hours long as well as it is summer time..

Well, that's the beauty of being away eh?

Potatoes

Though you may have heard and read about the following story, I would still like to share them.

So I won't forget.

The Story of Potatoes

A kindergarten teacher has decided to let her class play game. The teacher told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag containing a few potatoes. Each potato will be given a name of a person that the child hates, so the number of potatoes that a child will put in his/her plastic bag will depend on the number of people he/she hates.

So when the day came, every child brought some potatoes with the name of the people he/she hated. Some had 2 potatoes; some 3 while some up to 5 potatoes. The teacher then told the children to carry with them the potatoes in the plastic bag wherever they go (even to the toilet) for 1 week.

Day after day passed by, and the children started to complain due to the unpleasant smell let out by the rotten potatoes. Besides, those having 5 potatoes also had to carry heavier bags.

After 1 week, the children were relieved because the game had finally ended.

The teacher asked: "How did you feel while carrying the potatoes with you for 1 week?"

The children let out their frustrations and started complaining of the trouble that they had to go through having to carry the heavy and smelly potatoes wherever they go.

Then the teacher told them the hidden meaning behind the game. The

teacher said: "This is exactly the situation when you carry your hatred for

somebody inside your heart. The stench of hatred will contaminate your

heart and you will carry it with you wherever you go. If you cannot

tolerate the smell of rotten potatoes for just 1 week, can you

imagine what is it like to have the stench of hatred in your heart for

your lifetime?"

So throw away any hatred for anyone from your heart so

that you will not carry sins for a lifetime.

End the suffering.

Forgiving others is the best attitude to take!

Be nice to others even if

you don't like them.

And to this I would like to quote someone;

"Raise your hands and pray

Ask Him for His guidance

For many a time in your life you will be tested

With depressing, pathetic, terrible people and situations around you"

Just for laughs :D

I give my highest respect to this person who came up with ideas that made me laugh till my eyes water. Streaming with tears in fact.

Truly genius. Purely armpit-tickling.

Tears rolled down her cheeks.

She clearly looked forlorn.

There was a little note in her hand.

Then came a little voice.

"Mommy, why are you crying?"

Sounding very concerned, cracking as if to try not to cry.

"Well, I am crying because I am sad that Tok Mama and Tok Abah has gone back. I miss them already."

She glanced at the little note again.

"Me mish Tok Abah and Tok Mama too.."

Came another little voice.

Lilting. Trying to exert some cheer to the obviously sad Mommy.

"Mommy, you be happy when we talk to Tok Mama and Tok Abah from the computer ok?"

And two tiny pair of hands wrapped Mommy.

Tightly.

Another stream of tears from Mommy.

Only briefly.

We miss you lots OHANA!!

The North - Liverpool

We dropped by Liverpool on our way back from the North. Went to LFC since my cousin a.k.a my aunt's son have requested for some items there. Owh and I am a Man U fan by the way :D, so no pictures here because we have already taken enough during our previous trip hehehehe...

Later that day we made a detour to Cheshire Oaks Outlet, for a little shopping, done not by me, before heading home.

The Blues

The writer, at this moment, is suffering from the Blues.

Writer's block (as if!).

Post-mama&abah dah balik Malaysia-depression.

Sedih and rindu.

Hence the long hiatus.

Lots to write but could not find the errmmm... mood.

Mood, where aaarrreeeee youuuuuu??

Or probably it's just the viral 'L' disease.

Chronic eh?

Hehehe...

Been reading other people's writing to get the push.

Hope the spirit will return soon.

Anyway, on this day, as mentioned here, I would like to wish Cik Yah Happy 5th birthday..

Quite a bit to write but have been busy past few days, spending time with the kids before they start school again this Tuesday.
